Disaster in the Gulf

It’s difficult to comprehend the scale of this Ecological disaster which is happening the Gulf. At least 20 million gallons have now spilled into the Gulf of Mexico, affecting more than 70 miles (110km) of Louisiana’s coastline (and beyond)

Eleven rig workers died when the Deepwater Horizon exploded and sank nearly six weeks ago. Estimates are that 40,000 – 60,000 gallons of oil are leaking per day.
